Sitges is situated in the Mediterranean coast, 35km. far from the south of Barcelona and 35 minutes from Tarragona. The village is located in the southern point of the Macizo del Garraf, a mountain range that has been for many years a neutral barrier between Barcelona and Sitges. Thanks to its privileged location, the village offers a mild and warm climate, which means enjoying pleasant winters and moderate summers. The mildness of this climate is due to the closeness of the sea and the shelter of the Macizo del Garraf, which does not allow the cold northern winds and the inland draughts go through because of its height.
