 Excellent and helpful staff, nice amenities, and beautiful view of the East River.  Not the most convenient location, as you are on the far East side of Manhattan, and several blocks from any subway stop or anything other than residential neighborhoods.  a multi-plex movie theater is 1 blok away, some stores, and restaurants, and the Roosevelt Island tramway. But not muh else is onvenient to the hotel.
 

Hotel description

This 21-story hotel comprises a total of 197 rooms of which 36 are suites. Facilities include a lobby with a reception desk, a cloakroom and a lift. A bar and restaurant are to be found on the roof terrace from whence guests may enjoy wonderful views out over the river and city. It is possible to gain access to the Internet as well as to make use of the room and laundry service. There is a garage for those arriving by car (extra charge).
