The iconic Astoria Cinema in San Sebastián has been rebuilt and renovated, and now constitutes the city's first contemporary styled hotel. The air-conditioned hotel offers unique design and décor, as well as a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe and lift access. Each of the 102 rooms is individually decorated to reflect the personalities of famous actors, actresses or directors, who have attended the San Sebastián International Film Festival since its inauguration in 1953. Other hotel amenities include a café, a breakfast room, conference facilities, WLAN Internet access and both room and laundry services. For an extra fee, those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the garage provided, as well as hiring bicycles from reception.

The hotel has a gym with free access for all guests guaranteed and the golf course at Basozabal is approximately 2 km away. The nearby beach at La Concha is sandy.

This design hotel is located in San Sebastián, just 5 minutes' walk from the city centre. It is an hour by car from Bilbao and La Concha Beach is 5 minutes by car from the hotel. There is a bus stop some 100 m from the door and the train station at Del Norte is just over a kilometre away. Guests will find shops in San Martín, some 500 m from the hotel.
